Leave a Shoutout
Drop a modern shoutout like it’s ’89. Keep it quick, keep it fresh—your message may be featured in the archive.
Before you hit record
How to leave a great shoutout
Think of this like the party-line days: a quick hello, where you’re calling from, and what you’re into. Keep it PG-13, skip personal info, and bring the energy. If you’re shouting out a crew, spell it out so we can credit it right.

Submit your shoutout (text)
No mic handy? Send a text shoutout and we’ll format it for the feed. If you’ve got a link to your track, mixtape, or project, drop it in the message too.
Shoutout FAQ
A few quick answers so you know what to expect.
What should I say?
Start with your name (or alias), your city, and who you’re shouting out. Add a quick memory, a dedication, or what you’re listening to right now.
How long should it be?
Short and sweet—aim for 10–30 seconds if you’re leaving audio. For text, a few lines is perfect.
Can I promote music or a project?
Yes—keep it tasteful. Include one link and a sentence of context. No spam blasts.
Will my shoutout be public?
Maybe. By submitting, you’re giving permission for us to feature it on the site and socials. If you want it private, say so clearly in your message.
What can’t I include?
No hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or explicit content. Don’t share phone numbers, addresses, or private details.
Can I edit or remove my shoutout later?
Reach out via the contact page with the details you used (name/alias + approximate date) and we’ll do our best to help.
